New & Fabulous

Hey dolls. I've taking some time to gather a collection of amazing products to share with you all. I've recently upgraded my REVLON PHOTOREADY foundation -(on the left, roughly $22.00 @ Shoppers) to their new PHOTOREADY AIRBRUSH -(on the right, roughly $16.00 @ Wal mart)

The new  Photo Ready Airbrush comes out in a mousse form. I like it but I have to say it takes a while to blend evenly around the canvas of my face. I've now discovered that if I apply it with my fingers first, then smooth and blend everything out with my foundation brush, it looks a lot better. I look airbrushed. It definitely stands by it's name. I still have lots of my other P/R foundation so I can still switch it up every now and then as you should with any kind of makeup/face wash etc.

I've just made a You Tube account called BEEingafashionbug.youtube.com where I will talk to you more about the products I love, give you makeup tutorials, and share with you my new hair secret I've recently
learned about. The picture below is what I will show you how to do in 5 minutes! It is super easy and a lot of fun. You can wear this hair style pretty much anywhere and it looks like you got it professionally done!

I hope once I get my You Tube channel up and running on a weekly basis that you will all subscribe.

XOXO

"The Big Sister Stuff"

Hey! I couldn't sleep, so I decided to write another blog. I;m starting this off by dedicating my blog site to my sister, Amber. For teaching me everyting I know from fashion, boys, and to how to blend my makeup. You know.. the "Big sister stuff".
My sister is staying here at my moms house for a few weeks until she moves to New Foundland at the end of the week. She's the one who inspired me to start my own blog. If anybody knows anything about Fashion, it's my sister, Amber. I remember when I was younger and I couldn't go a day without asking for her opinion on what I was wearing. That was until she moved to Newfoundland. It was the first time I had to learn what I liked for once. When she moved back with her fiance and saw me for the first time, she was pretty impressed with how much of a fashionista I had become. It's impressive how easy she can find amazing articles of clothing, jewlery, even shoes for great deals. She has been an awesome teacher, and I've learned a lot from her. Which is why I'm going to put what I know to the test. I'm going to post products and clothing I come across twice throught the week. As well as having an outfit of the day. Either an outfit that catches my eye on the street or in the mall, or from inside my closet. The picture below is taken of my two favourite (other than my mother of course!), people on earth. Amber, and my niece who I'll refer to as M. Keep reading my blogs to see everything else I have in store for you!

My Favourite Products

Hey everyone! My name is Hillary, and I'm just starting out with this whole blog thing so please be patient as I'm getting started! Basically, I want to talk about the latest fashion& make-up trends, as well as the latest hair styles. I really enjoy these topics and could honestly play with my hair and makeup for hours. That's if I had the time and money to spare on myself and products of course.

One of my FAVOURITE, most trust worthy brands of makeup would have to be MAC. Simply because it lasts super long, and its reliable if I have an extra long shift. If I happen to forget my makeup at home, I can trust that if I don't touch my face too much throughout the night; my makeup will infact last. This is very important to me! As it probably is to a lot of you people out there. I think putting out a few extra dollars for the quality of your foundation is totally worth it. I find that brands such as LOREAL and COVER GIRL are okay.. however, their tones are in between our natural skin tones if you know what I mean. The cheaper brands are more orange and peachy where as brands like REVLON and MAC, are more natural, more nude shades that natrually match your normal natural skin tone. The picture below is the MAC foundation that I have used on my own face several times and have had amazing results and compliments!
MAC Studio Fix Fluid: $35.00

Recently, I've been using REVLON PHOTO READY, and it is almost as great as the MAC. This foundation is amazing quality and cheaper then MAC. I spend the extra dollar on my foundation, and I dont usually over spend on my other products like blush or lipstick. I believe you can get good quality out of some cheaper blushes out there. Bronzer, however, I spend 15.00 at sephora. It lasts forever, and works great. I bought a concealer from LISE WATIER. It was $30.00 and worth every penny. It is supposed to last a year, so I'll let you know how that goes for me. So far, it works miracles! It has four different purposes. Green for rouging, Violet for shimmer, and the nudes for shading.
Amazing product. I'll post the other two products below as well.
I hope you all enjoy what I had to say! I'm sorry this blog couldn't be longer; but they will definitly improve as I my blog continues to grow.
